CP690 Cotton Picker

There are currently two types of cotton harvester system: the spindle cotton harvester, also known as picker, which removes only the lint cotton and the stripper cotton harvester, which is endowed with roller systems, thus removing the entire bolls, the husks and the wraps.
How does the CP690 Cotton Picker work? The CP690 Cotton Picker has a large “fine comb” in which its gaps pluck the entire bolls from the plant, being deposited right behind the comb, on the platform. This part forces the detachment of the fiber that had not been released from the plant.
The CP690 Cotton Picker performs the uninterrupted cotton harvest through the use of a high-volume accumulator, a former and a round module handler. The accumulator of the CP690 Cotton Picker still collects the cotton while a round module is baled with a protective film – Super Cotton Wrap - and ejected to the rear handler of the machine.
It is important to mention that right after the cotton harvest in the CP690 Cotton Picker, it remains stored in small rolls on the farms, before going to the gin.
