CP690 Cotton Harvester

There are currently two types of cotton harvester systems: the spindle cotton harvester, also known as a picker, which removes only the lint cotton, and the stripper cotton harvester, which is equipped with roller systems, thus removing the entire bolls, the hulls, and the husks.
How does the CP690 cotton harvester work? The CP690 cotton harvester has a large “fine comb” whose gaps pluck the entire bolls from the plant, being deposited right behind the comb, on the platform. This part forces the detachment of the fiber that had not been released from the plant.
The CP690 cotton harvester performs uninterrupted cotton harvesting through the use of a high-volume accumulator, a former, and a round module handler. The accumulator of the CP690 cotton harvester still collects the cotton while a round module is baled with a protective film – Super Cotton Wrap - and ejected to the rear handler of the machine.
