Cotton Bales

Cotton is a fiber of extreme socioeconomic importance for Brazil, as we are among the five main world producers and also one of the countries that export it the most. Cotton Bales

Proof of this is that the Brazilian lint cotton crop in the 2022/23 season is estimated at 2.978 million tons, a rise of 16.7% compared to the 2.553 million tons indicated in the 2021/22 crop. These numbers are part of the fourth survey by the National Supply Company (Conab) for the 2022/23 crop.

Furthermore, productivity is estimated at 1,815 kilograms of lint cotton per hectare, compared to 1,596 kilograms per hectare in the 2021/22 season. The area planted with cotton in the 2022/23 season is estimated at 1.841 million hectares, an increase of 2.6% compared to the 1.600 million hectares in the last crop.

These numbers show that the cotton agribusiness has evolved a lot over the years and currently the cotton produced here is already considered of extreme quality, going through rigorous processes and criteria, such as traceability, sustainability, among others.

For cotton producers, it is very viable to store it in the field itself, as soon as the bales leave the harvester, the famous small rolls, or cotton bales.

The cotton bales have numerous advantages as they allow for storage without losses and maintaining the quality of the cotton, and increasingly rural producers are relying on Super Cotton Wrap, or cotton bales, which contains plastic film for baling cotton in the field.

Developed with high technology and through an innovative process, Super Cotton Wrap, also known as cotton bales, is compatible with the main cotton harvesters on the market, allows cotton baling to be performed automatically and without stops, ensuring speed and agility at the time of harvest.

Check out the main differentials of Super Cotton Wrap: Agility: the coil is fitted directly into cotton harvesters, allowing for fast and non-stop operation. Security: Super Cotton Wrap prevents the risk of contamination of cotton bales with plastic or other impurities. Individual units: Super Cotton Wrap was developed with pre-cut portions, facilitating its handling at the time of baling. Sustainability: 100% recyclable polyethylene film Traceability: through RFID (radio frequency technology) it is possible to track the bales. Durability and UV Protection: Super Cotton Wrap has exclusive protection against UV rays, which guarantees its durability for 6 months in the field. Protection: protects and preserves the cotton bales in the field from various weather adversities: winds, rains, etc., thus maintaining the quality of the harvested product.
